Athena Mentor’s Head Math Coach Wins Architectural Award The award-winning Nowell, Mass. photography studio was designed by Wyly Brown, Head Math Coach of Athena Mentor and recent graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Design Student. The unique design of Trillium Studios features a low sloping curved roof with SIPs, as well as SIP walls and an ICF basement. Radiant heat and low-e windows make this studio extremely energy efficient. Trees that had to be cleared from the building site were incorporated back into the building as both structural components and decorative elements. And he’s a great math coach, too! Congratulations, Wyly!

Dr. Corcoran Serves on Munich Jury that Awards €33,000 to Media Artists Dr. Corcoran will have the honor of serving on the jury that awards two prizes sponsored by the City of Munich. A €15,000 grant will go to a New Media Artist in Visual Art, and a €18,000 grant will go to a New Media Artist in Music. Judging such a prestigious competition helps sharpen Athena Mentor’s sense of what it takes for you to write a successful application!

Dr. Corcoran Appointed Head of Education of the American German Business Clubs The director of Athena Mentor will serve as Head of Education on the national board of the American German Business Clubs. She has been asked to propose a program that will benefit young people in Germany who aspire to careers in business.
